Clamp Champ was not featured in the new cartoon or comic book continuity... but he was planned as a figure - and recently a 6" statue of a design separate from the planned figure was revealed!

Prior to seeing what was in store for both the initial Clamp Champ figure and the statue I developed my own custom figure based on the classic character. I decided that my Clamp Champ would be a special member of the Royal Guard but he would also be the Grandson of former Master of Arms Dekker*.

The Clamp that came with Battle Fist was apparently designed to allow for modification into the weapon that was to come with the un-produced Clamp Champ - it was the basic simplified version of the weapon, which is how I like to think of my custom figure! This figure is sort of a Young Clamp Champ, and with the Statue version of the figure available, my figure can merely serve as an earlier, less technologically enhanced version of himself!*
