The
character of Lizardman was
only featured in 2 classic episodes,
but became and remains a favorite among
fans. Lizardman
was not introduced into the new series
and there has never been a lizardman
figure for either the new or classic Masters of the Universe
toyline.
I
have always had a particular fondness
for the character... I really would
have liked a lizardman figure when
I was younger and since he didn't get
a figure the second time around I just
had to make one!
And a story to go along
with him!
Trapped in the extra-dimensional
prison known as the Void where time
seemingly stood still, Lizardman is a
member of a race of Snakemen that where
enslaved by King Hssss.
The Elders were not discriminating
when imprisoning the Snakemen and Lizardman
was imprisoned along with his cruel
slave masters.
While in the Void he managed
to escape his masters and hide among
the nooks of folds of the cage dimension.
To his knowledge Lizardman, as he now
calls himself to differentiate himself
from his former overlords, is the last
of his people...
All of his kin who
were imprisoned with the Snakemen are
gone - many of them eaten! Despite
the nature of Void subduing any need
for food or hunger the Snakemen's thirst
for blood and their desire to inflict
suffering upon others cannot be bound.
Lizardman vows to avenge
his people and will stop at nothing to
see that the Snakemen are stopped. He
can get carried away with his rage
and often runs the risk of behaving no
better than his sworn enemies.
Allying
himself with the Masters of the Universe
Lizardman seeks to aid in bringing
an end to the Snakemen's furious
and violent reign.
