This custom was created to enhance the neck feature of the figure. With the cartoon and comic book incarnations of Mekaneck the character is depicted with the ability to elongate his neck to great lengths and bend his neck into all sorts of configurations.

I also gave Mega-Mekaneck and Optional head with what I imagine he might look like underneath that helmet of his. In addition to the head option he has a helmet that he can hold onto simulating that it is removable.
